The 19th annual South African HORRORFEST Film Festival and Halloween event brings you exciting movies from around the world, in cinema and streaming on-line. From classics to new indies you’re unlikely to see anywhere else, big studio releases, and loads of amazing short films.
The full line-up will be announced across September, but early movie confirmations include classics like THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW dress-up screening, THE MAKABRA ENSEMBLE’s live soundtrack performance to classic 1928 silent film THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER, and a special oldschool 16mm film projection of the legendary 1933 KING KONG for its 90th anniversary.

Streaming will be accessible across South Africa and will be hosted at Quicket – Link coming soon.
All HORRORFEST ticket purchasers will be eligible to win double sets to attend special advance screenings of new releases before their official release dates, including THE EXORCIST BELIEVER and FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S!

The festival’s Halloween dress-up gathering coincides with the HOUSE OF USHER live soundtrack performance.
