Full day of beginner beekeeping training with theory in the morning followed by lunch and then a practical demo with everyone getting to experience a live working bee hive inspection!

We show you the equipment needed to start beekeeping as well explain how it’s used and why. Then we discuss the honey market and products of bees. Hive management is vital and so is choosing a site with enough food!

Learn about the honey industry and bee products to make money from! There’s an amazing number of different products besides honey that you can earn income from!

We then all put our protective clothing on and gloves and go outside to work with bees on site. We have a number of hives on the smallholding and will open them up to show you first hand how to start working with bees, what to look for and demo a full hive inspection for you!
