Rust-en-Vrede Gallery is proud to represent Craig Muller’s second solo exhibition at the gallery titled ‘Inter-Apocalyptic Bliss’.
Muller, who describes himself as rather curious, overphilistic and cynical, makes use of his extraordinary drawing abilities to create inventive and pensive visual narratives.
He claims that story telling is not factual, but a colouring of words, the shaping of letters and the markmaking of sounds . The random happening of marks and tones within an artwork are mathematical fractals, flavours beyond rendition and documentary photos. And in titling, as a component of the work, we are reminded that someone is watching and trying to comprehend and describe.
