Exotic And Medicinal Mushroom Growing Workshop – Randpark Ridge, Jhb

As you’ve probably heard, mushrooms are good for you.

9:00 am - 5:00 pm

As you’ve probably heard, mushrooms are good for you. So good, in fact, that people often use them as medicine.

You may also be aware that almost every ancient civilization around the world has used mushrooms for their healing properties for thousands of years. (Ancient Egyptians even called them the plant of immortality.)

But you may not realize just how powerful edible mushrooms can be for healing people — and also for healing the planet.

In fact, research has identified more than 200 conditions that may benefit from mushroom consumption and more than 100 different beneficial effects they can produce for the body.

Join us for this informative and empowering workshop presented by Riaan Bothma.

At the conclusion of this workshop you will have a basic understanding of the mushroom cultivation process from spore to fruit. You will be able to prepare and pasteurise fruiting substrate at home and maintain basic fruiting conditions for oyster and related mushroom species. This course will further empower you with the knowledge to undertake a deeper learning journey into the world of mushroom cultivation.
