ParkOff Music Fest JBAY – ZigZag Stage, Supertubes, Jeffrey’s Bay

ParkOFF is the official music festival of the Corona JBay Open 2022!

4:00 pm

The festival features some of SA’s top bands and DJs and is located a stone’s throw away from all the surfing action at the Supertubes Park. After a long day of mind-blowing surfing action, what’s a better way to finish off the day with some live music with friends and family.

Join us on the 14th of July (Thursday) for a wild night of live post-punk, rock and psychedelic music at the Zigzag stage featuring music by Cape Town’s loudest acts Retro Dizzy, TOUGHGUY, and Yndian Mynah.

Retro Dizzy:

Retro Dizzy is a psych-rock band from Cape Town who have gone through many iterations but continues to fly the flag high and wreck rock ‘n’ roll havoc across the scene. Hide your boyfriends.

TOUGHGUY:

TOUGHGUY, started in November 2020 during Cape Town’s hard lockdown. They play a mixture of hard, garage punk with just a whiff of psych. It took the world going to crap to get these four long-time admirers of each other’s music to finally get a room and start playing together. Now, you can enjoy one of the most positive consequences of the pandemic, right in your ears. Their debut single ‘Sugar’ is out now!

Yndian Mynah:

Yndian Mynah is a South African instrumental band based in Cape Town. Their sound can be described as post-rock music with hints of dreamy psychedelia, post-punk and prog rock that vacillate sounds between explosive edges and nostalgic narratives. Influenced by DIY culture, the band started off by playing tightly packed intimate floor shows and quickly elevated to festival stages across South Africa.
