On Thursday 4 June, Berlin’s Bonsai Kitten lands at Knysna Gin with their feral blend of punk rock, psychobilly and old school rock and roll swagger. Since forming in 2005 around frontwoman Tiger Lilly Marleen, the band has built a reputation across Europe for explosive live shows that move somewhere between dive bar chaos and full throttle rock spectacle.
They call it ‘Killbilly’. Fast, loud and completely unapologetic.
Expect razor sharp riffs, pounding rhythms and the kind of stage energy that feels one step away from falling apart in the best possible way.
