Germany’s punk rock wrecking crew Bonsai Kitten live at The Daisy Jones Bar with support from Alive At Midnight.
On Saturday 06 June, Berlin’s Bonsai Kitten lands at Daisy Jones with their feral blend of punk rock, psychobilly and old school rock and roll swagger. Since forming in 2005 around frontwoman Tiger Lilly Marleen, the band has built a reputation across Europe for explosive live shows that move somewhere between dive bar chaos and full throttle rock spectacle.
They call it Killbilly. Fast, loud and completely unapologetic.
Expect razor sharp riffs, pounding rhythms and the kind of stage energy that feels one step away from falling apart in the best possible way.
Opening the night is Cape Town underground outfit Alive At Midnight, bringing their raw Woodstock born punk rock sound to the vineyards. Loud, sweaty and built for small rooms packed shoulder to shoulder, they arrive carrying the spirit of old school South African alternative music culture with them.
