Here ye fellow revellers, The time is upon us once more! The Durban Renfaire is Durban’s first Renaissance Faire bringing all the magic of the Medieval and Renaissance eras to a family friendly event that is part pop-culture convention, part market and everything in-between!
Expect pop-culture merch, local artists and artisans selling their wares, magic and esoteric items, delicious food, tabletop gaming, cosplay competitions, carnival games and of course the knights from the Durban Sword and Shield Club will be returning to out on a show!
Join in the merriment by dressing up in fantasy, medieval, renaissance garb or cosplay!

~The Durban Renfaire Cosplay Competition~
This year the cosplay Masquerade (open to all costumes) will accept sign-ups on the day but the Cosplay Competition (a craftsmanship based competition where at least 80% of your costume must be self-made) will be pre-registration only and you will have to purchase entry as an add-on ticket. NO Entries for the Cosplay Competition will be accepted on the day.
Attendees entering the Cosplay Competition will be required to attend pre-judging between 2pm and 3:30pm and will be required to attend the stage event at 4pm.
You will be emailed a form to complete upon purchasing an Add-on ticket for The Durban Renfaire Cosplay Competition.
